Social Meetings
The Hometowner’s Club gathers bimonthly for a delicious meal and a thoughtfully planned program covering a wide range of topics. Programs may include musical entertainment, guest speakers on financial topics, arts and crafts, and more. The club’s various activities are also scheduled and planned during these meetings.

Unless otherwise noted, meetings are held at 10:00 AM EST in the Mahurin TCB Academy on the second floor of the Hillcrest Banking Center, 3460 Leitchfield Road, Elizabethtown, KY 42701.
Below are the dates, times, and locations of the Hometowner's Club meetings for 2026.
- January 14, 2026 - 10:00 AM: Hillcrest Banking Center. TCB will provide soups and drinks. Desserts are welcome!
- March 11, 2026 - 10:00 AM: Hillcrest Banking Center. TCB will provide breakfast.
- May 13, 2026 - 11:00 AM: Freeman Lake Park, Searle Pavilion, 240 Freeman Lake Park Rd. TCB will provide meat and drinks. Vegetables, salads, and desserts are welcome!
- July 8, 2026 - 10:00 AM: Hillcrest Banking Center. TCB will provide sandwiches and chips. Desserts are welcome!
- September 10, 2026 - 4:00 PM: Freeman Lake Park, Searle Pavilion, 240 Freeman Lake Park Rd. TCB will provide meat and drinks. Vegetables, salads, and desserts are welcome!
- November 12, 2026 - 10:00 AM: Hillcrest Banking Center. TCB will provide turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, and drinks. Vegetables, salads, and desserts are welcome!
REMINDER: If Hardin County Schools close because of inclement weather, the Hometowner's Club meeting will also be canceled.

- INDIANAPOLIS, IN - BEEF & BOARDS DINNER THEATRE - Thursday, March 26, 2026: Roll north with us for an unforgettable evening at Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre in the heart of Indianapolis! Indulge in an exquisite buffet featuring a wide array of delicious dishes thoughtfully crafted to please every palate. As you dine, get ready to be swept away by one of the most romantic musicals of all time—Pretty Woman: The Musical. Fall in love all over again as the story of unlikely soulmates Vivian and Edward comes to life on stage. Relive the moments you adore from the beloved movie while discovering fresh depth in its iconic characters through dazzling music and captivating performances. - PIGEON FORGE, TN - DOLLYWOOD & DreamMORE RESORT - Tuesday, April 14 through Thursday, April 16, 2026: Calling all Dolly Parton fans! Step into the heart of Dolly’s world with a delightful two-night getaway at the DreamMore Resort in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee—where storytelling, family, and heartfelt hospitality shine. Your adventure kicks off with an unforgettable evening at Dolly Parton’s Stampede, featuring thrilling horse-riding stunts, dazzling special effects, and toe-tapping music, all while you enjoy a mouthwatering four-course feast. Getting around is a breeze with a continuous shuttle from the resort to Dollywood, plus you’ll receive a $20 food voucher to enjoy during your park visit. - WILLIAMSTOWN, KY - ARK ENCOUNTER - Tuesday, May 19: Join us for a memorable day trip to Williamstown, Kentucky, beginning with lunch at Emzara’s Buffet. This award-winning, themed restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious entrées, fresh salads, and tempting desserts to satisfy every taste. After lunch, enjoy a self-guided tour of the Ark Encounter, home to a full-size replica of Noah’s Ark, built according to the biblical dimensions. Measuring an impressive 510 feet long, 85 feet wide, and 51 feet high, this remarkable feat of modern engineering is sure to amaze. Inside, explore immersive exhibits featuring large-scale biblical scenes, life-size animals, ambient soundscapes, and unique animal encounters that bring the story to life. The cost is $122 per person. Payment is due April 13, 2026. The bus will leave the Elizabethtown Towne Mall on May 19 at 8:00 AM EST and return around 9:00 PM EST.
- MACKINAC ISLAND, MI - Saturday, June 6 through Wednesday, June 10, 2026: We begin our journey with a scenic drive to Bay City, Michigan, where we'll settle in for the night and get ready for the adventure ahead. On Day Two, we travel north, crossing the iconic Mackinac Bridge before boarding a ferry to enchanting Mackinac Island. Upon arrival, we'll enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at the historic Grand Hotel. After lunch, a horse-drawn carriage tour will showcase the island’s beauty and history, ending in downtown Mackinac. Guests will have time to explore before checking in for a two-night stay at the Lakeview Hotel. Day Three is yours to enjoy at leisure. Relax and soak in the island atmosphere, browse charming shops, sightsee, or explore Mackinac Island at your own pace—no schedules, just pure enjoyment. On Day Four, after breakfast, we depart the island and travel to Frankenmuth, Michigan. Highlights include dinner at the world-famous Bavarian Inn Restaurant and a visit to Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland, the largest Christmas store in the world. We'll overnight at the Fairfield Inn. On Day Five, we begin our journey home, taking with us wonderful memories of this unforgettable Michigan getaway. This package includes three meals and four nights of lodging. The cost is Single: $2,035 per person; Double: $1,435 per person; Triple: $1,385 per person; and Quad: $1,375 per person. A $200 per person deposit is due April 2, 2026. The final payment is due May 13, 2026. The bus will leave the Elizabethtown Towne Mall at 7:00 AM EST on June 6 and return around 7:00 PM EST on June 10.
- NASHVILLE, TN - GENERAL JACKSON SHOWBOAT - Friday, July 10, 2026: Step into the heart of Music City with an unforgettable Nashville getaway! Cruise the scenic Cumberland River aboard the legendary General Jackson Showboat, where you’ll enjoy a mouthwatering buffet lunch, toe-tapping live entertainment, and a relaxing 2.5-hour river cruise filled with classic Nashville charm. Fuel up with a delicious lunch at Ford’s Garage in Florence, Kentucky (one meal included!), then dive headfirst into adventure at the Newport Aquarium. Come face-to-face with jaw-dropping marine life, wander through immersive exhibits, and experience hands-on attractions that put you right in the middle of the action. It’s a splash-tastic afternoon you won’t forget! The cost is $110 per person. Payment is due July 24, 2026. The bus will leave the Elizabethtown Towne Mall on August 17 at 9:00 AM EST and return around 7:30 PM EST.
